St. Patrick's Day in Green and Gold

St. Patrick Day is a major holiday in our house, considering my husband's Irish heritage.  We have our traditional St. Patrick's day dinner, so it is important to have a nice table setting for our meal.

My Irish santa-ish figure.  Okay, so it is a Santa, but it is perfect for St. Pat's Day.

An Irish Blessing for our Home.

A peek of the leprechaun's gold behind the Irish Coffee cup.

Mmmmmm.  I can just taste the Irish Coffee now.

I picked up these great charger plates on an 80% sale at Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago.

"Creation Green" Block Spal Dinner plates and "Pure Gold" by Centurion Salad Plates.

The place settings have my Raphael by Gorham Crystal iced tea goblets and green depression era sandwich glass bread plates. Also a part of the setting are these antique green sherbet glasses with a gold rim.
I'm planing to serve Donegal Oatmeal Cream for dessert.

I found these precious salt dips and spoons a couple of years ago at an antique store.

Sliver and Gold

This is the first of four Christmas tables I have planned.  I love the song "Silver and Gold," especially when sung by Burl Ives in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.

That was the inspiration for this table.

The items used in this tablesetting:
Crystal Water Goblets, Raphael by Gorham
Salad Plates, Pure Gold by Centurion
Dinner Plates, WalMart
Chargers, Hobby Lobby
Salt and Pepper Shakers, Solitaire by Lenox
Coffee Service, unknown, from Ross
