I love what Susan does at Between Naps on the Porch, it is always inspirational to me. Today instead of a full table, I decided to treat myself to a special tea for me.
I spend time in this chaise reading and meditating. I do my daily Bible reading here, and it is a comfortable place to relax with a good book.
It is kind of dreary here today, so I thought I would make some hot tea and have a muffin.
The tea cup and saucer are Royal Dover.
The bud vase is actually a pink sandwich glass salt shaker! Just the right size.
The tea pot I picked up at Ross. I loved the dragonfly!
The plate is pink depression era glass, and the muffin is lemon poppyseed.
Have a peaceful and restful day.
So cute, and cozy. I love your sweet tea pot. I like dreary weather when you can stay home and be cozy. Hope you got to enjoy your day here.
ReplyDeleteDear One,
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with the fork thru the napkin ring on the napkin.
Neat.
Your setting is very pretty and I believe it would be relaxing as all get out.
God bless you and glad you did a Tablescape Thursday!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of tea and something to read. The little dragonfly tea pot is darling. ~ Sarah
