Tea for Me!

I have been caught up this morning and was unable to post sooner for Tablescape Thursday.

I love what Susan does at Between Naps on the Porch, it is always inspirational to me.  Today instead of a full table, I decided to treat myself to a special tea for me.

I spend time in this chaise reading and meditating.  I do my daily Bible reading here, and it is a comfortable place to relax with a good book.

It is kind of dreary here today, so I thought I would make some hot tea and have a muffin.

The tea cup and saucer are Royal Dover.
The bud vase is actually a pink sandwich glass salt shaker!  Just the right size.

The tea pot I picked up at Ross.  I loved the dragonfly!

The plate is pink depression era glass, and the muffin is lemon poppyseed.

Have a peaceful and restful day.

  2. Dear One,
I like what you did with the fork thru the napkin ring on the napkin.
    Neat.
Your setting is very pretty and I believe it would be relaxing as all get out.
God bless you and glad you did a Tablescape Thursday!
