Snow

We don't have snow here right now, but Christmas Eve was a blizzard in many parts of our state.  It was delightful to see all the beautiful scenes around Oklahoma, even as many found themselves stranded for the holidays.  This was inspiration for my snowflake table.

I have a beautiful cross with a snowflake in the center and a snow couple that sat on the cabinet behind the table.  I collect snow people and this is a set from  my collection.

The centerpiece was a collection of candles and snowflakes.  The glass ornament with a snowflake inside lights up.

The place settings have a snowflake place card holder.  The card is a gift tag with snowflakes on them.  The napkins have silver stitching with holly leaves actually, but the way I have them folded all you can see are the points. I have tucked a snowflake ornament in the napkin ring.

The salad plates are Lenox Federal from the Holiday Collection, the dinner plates are from WalMart.

The water goblets are Raphael pattern by Gorham, and the wine glasses I picked up at Dollar Tree. I liked the ornament hanging from the glasses.

The center piece before being lit....

and after.  What a pretty glow from the candles.

Candlelight and Crystal

Beautiful!

Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for hosting all the pretty tables each week.
