Thanksgiving Table.

I have been slacking on posting.  My table would be ready to go. Pictures were taken, I simply haven't had the time to sit and post them.  We are coming into Christmas and I have four tables planned.  I hope I can get it together soon.  I planned to post the first one Thursday.  Didn't happen.  What can I say?

This is my 'busy season' or one of them.  I tend to not be able to devote as much time to hobbies this time of year as I would like.  For me tablescaping is relaxing and creative.  This is the artistic hobby that I can see take shape quickly so I have some concept of immediate satisfaction of a job accomplished.  Something I don't get in my "day job."  I can put together a table in an hour, or I can work on it for weeks.  Whatever.  I thought I would be able to keep up with a "Tablescape Thursday," once a week, but it hasn't worked out very well.  It seems Thursday follows Wednesday, the second busiest day of my week.  I really need to do these posts up early and just link them on Thursdays to Susan's blog at Between Naps on the Porch.  Maybe it will happen someday.

In any event, this is my Thanksgiving table, now that everyone is in the Christmas Spirit.

Since the centerpiece was the soup tureen, I put individual flower arrangements at each persons place setting.
