Sliver and Gold

This is the first of four Christmas tables I have planned.  I love the song "Silver and Gold," especially when sung by Burl Ives in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.

That was the inspiration for this table.

The items used in this tablesetting:
Crystal Water Goblets, Raphael by Gorham
Salad Plates, Pure Gold by Centurion
Dinner Plates, WalMart
Chargers, Hobby Lobby
Salt and Pepper Shakers, Solitaire by Lenox
Coffee Service, unknown, from Ross

Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, who hosts Tablescape Thursday.

  3. I'm doing the same theme for my Christmas table and looking for examples was what made me discover tablescaping this week. This is great inspiration.
