Golden Harvest

I'm linking this post to Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.

My honey bought a set of Golden Harvest by Homer Laughlin for me for Valentine's Day.  I have several plates, etc., but I only had a complete set of everything for two, so I set a table for two out of my new dishes.

I used the coffee pot as a vase and put some grasses in it.  The candlesticks are from Hobby Lobby.

The glasses and salt and pepper shakers were picked up at a local antique store.

The place settings

  1. I LOVE those dishes! I will have to make a note of them for future reference...

  2. Your new dishes are just gorgeous. I love the color and the pattern. The lovely scallopped border is so pretty. YOur linens are wonderful. What a great idea to use the coffee pot for the grasses. Beautifully done. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

  3. Luv your new dishes...what a great valentines gift...must have a sweet honey. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. I am you newest follower. Your tabletop look so beautiful. Please take a minute to pop over to my place too. I would love to have you at Terra Del Sole (Land of the Sun).

  5. Nice and homey!! I had to laugh because at first I thought you said it was a set your "money" bought for you instead of your "honey! ha!

  6. Your Honey bought those gorgeous Caramel colored dishes? wow Thats what I call a great valentines gift... its surely makes a lovely setting
    Happy Tuesday
