Asian Inspired Table

Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for hosting Tablescape Thursday.

My husband loves to cook Ramen.  Not the dry noodles with the mix packet you can pick up cheap at the grocery store, but an authentic, cook the broth all day, kind of Ramen.  We love it.  So, in honor of his cooking, I have set an Asian-inspired table.

I picked up the bowls, bamboo place mats, chopsticks, sauce dish, and chopsticks rest at Ross.  Everything except for the bowls came in a set.

The red napkins, red plates by Canopy and brown glasses came from Walmart.
I thought the plates accented the flowers on the bowls nicely.

The center piece is a plate from Walmart, some glass stones and tea light candles.

 Simple.

  1. Very interesting and creative. I like your color combination and the Asian theme you've created. I used the same brown glasses at my tablescape this week! Very nice!
