In Shades of Blues and Browns

I know everyone is decorating in springy colors or St. Pat's Day Green, but I am still working on anything newer, and I haven't had time this week.  Here they are calling for a chance of snow this weekend.  Snow!  So, in honor of the potential snow, I am showing a cooler table.  No spring colors for me, hopefully that will be next week.

I love brown and blue together.  My bedroom is decorated in chocolate brown and pale blue, and it is so soothing.  I put the colors together for a tablescape.  I like how it turned out.

The plates are Gibson "Leaf" and I purchased them for $1 on ebay.

I thought the leaf design on the plates went well with the leaf chargers I picked up at WalMart last fall.

The water goblets are Raphael by Gorham and the salt and pepper are Solitaire by Lenox.

The centerpiece is a pedestal bowl with Christmas ornaments in brown and blue.  I love the peacocks.  They set off the whole thing don't you think?

Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for hosting us today.
